Benefits of entering the New Zealand Food Awards

The New Zealand Food Awards are the perfect opportunity for food producers to showcase excellence and gain recognition from industry experts. The exposure and credibility offered to you as a finalist or winner can elevate your business to the next level.

As part of the entry process, you can also access support and guidance on meeting mandatory requirements for labelling food and drink in New Zealand. While this is a legal requirement, getting this right also ensures consumer safety which can improve trust and brand reputation for your product.

Don’t just take our word for it

Here’s what 2022 Health and Wellbeing category winners, Rebel Bakehouse said:

“Being involved in the New Zealand Food Awards has so many positives! From a marketing angle the publicity from being a winner across so many media platforms is great for Rebel Bakehouse brand exposure, creating new news to grab people’s attention. From a trade angle, as in the retail chains, it gives our brand additional credibility around the quality and overarching marketing strategy of our products.

In addition to all that, it’s fantastic for the Rebel Bakehouse team, giving everyone that’s worked so hard to bring new products and the brand to life a real boost in morale.

All in all – being involved in the awards is loaded with benefits for both our brand and our people.”
